Watipa’ Logo

Watipa’s logo was designed in 2024, in collaboration with Lacey Marshall and her mother Chelsea, who are proud Gumbaynggirr women and artists. It was developed to reflect the connection between the Country and waterways where Watipa operates on the unceded lands of the Gumbaynggirr people in the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia, with our origins and continued connection with Malawi.
The logo for the Social Impact Leadership Academy was developed by the First Nations students at Sawtell Public School, the local primary school where Watipa’s main office is located.
The majority of photographs were taken by Harry Mjuweni (Vision Photography) at the Annual General Meeting of Watipa in Malawi, September 2024.
